ConnectDevs protects your hiring data with defined infrastructure, encryption, access, and deletion controls. This page explains where your data is stored, how our Gmail integration works, and what you can control at any time.
ConnectDevs hosts its platform on Amazon Web Services in the US West region and DigitalOcean in a US region.
All user data is processed and stored within the United States. ConnectDevs does not process or store user data outside US jurisdiction.
ConnectDevs encrypts data in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
These controls apply to all user data processed by the platform, including data handled through the Gmail integration.
ConnectDevs requests the minimum Gmail permissions necessary to deliver outreach and campaign features.
| Permission | How ConnectDevs uses it |
|---|---|
gmail.readonly | Syncs email threads, detects replies, reads labels and mailbox metadata, classifies replies, keeps conversations synchronized, and supports campaign reporting. |
gmail.send | Sends outreach emails and replies that the user initiates through ConnectDevs. |
Gmail data stays inside ConnectDevs infrastructure
Gmail content is processed only within ConnectDevs-controlled systems hosted on AWS and DigitalOcean. It is not sent to OpenAI, another external AI provider, or another third-party application for analysis or processing.
ConnectDevs does not provide employees or contractors with manual read access to a user’s Gmail content.
ConnectDevs does not use Gmail data for advertising. We do not sell Gmail data or use it to train AI or machine learning models.
You can disconnect Gmail at any time in the ConnectDevs app: Sidenav > Email > Listings Account > Disconnect
After disconnection, ConnectDevs permanently deletes the associated Gmail integration data within 90 days.
You can also revoke ConnectDevs’ access directly from your Google Account permissions.
Read the ConnectDevs Privacy Policy for more information about how ConnectDevs collects, uses, and protects personal data.
ConnectDevs’ internal automated systems access Gmail data and user data only to provide platform functions.
Employees and contractors do not have manual read access to user Gmail content. Access to other internal platform data follows role-based access control. ConnectDevs logs and audits internal access.
ConnectDevs uses OpenAI for specific platform algorithms and AI agents. Gmail content is never included in data sent to OpenAI or any other external AI provider.
AWS and DigitalOcean provide the infrastructure used to host ConnectDevs under data processing agreements.
ConnectDevs does not sell, rent, or share user data, including Gmail data, with data brokers, advertisers, or information resellers.
Gmail integration data remains in ConnectDevs systems for up to 90 days after you disconnect Gmail. ConnectDevs then permanently deletes it.
When you delete your ConnectDevs account, a 14-day grace period begins. After that period ends, ConnectDevs completes the full data wipe within 72 hours. No backups are retained after permanent deletion.
You can delete your account from within the ConnectDevs app.
ConnectDevs is not currently SOC 2 certified.
We maintain controls for encryption, access, logging, and data deletion, and we conduct regular internal security reviews. SOC 2 certification is on our roadmap.
